Enriching Our Community Through Acts of Service

Taglines. Slogans. Mottos. You know what they are: Clever turns of phrases associated with a particular company or brand, often quick summations of what defines them. At Dewitt Tilton Group, ours is “Enriching our community, one build at a time. The first three words are "ENRICHING OUR COMMUNITY." Let that sink in for a minute. The very foundation of our corporate mission is a passion for making our community a better place. Founding partners Andrew DeWitt and Chris Tilton have stated five clearly defined values for Dewitt Tilton Group: Relationships, Reputation, Service, Community, and Initiative. These core values are at the heart of everything we do, service to our community being chief among them. Whether it’s making a donation or volunteering our time and expertise, you can count on the Dewitt Tilton Group team members helping our community.

News Radio WTKS recently wrapped up its annual “Shop with a Cop” promotion, for which Dewitt Tilton Group was proud to be the title sponsor. This program brings together WTKS, Ronald McDonald House and local law enforcement to help families who've been served by RMH have a brighter Christmas. Listeners of NewsRadio WTKS donated funds and gift cards to deserving families who have spent time this year at the Ronald McDonald House. These parents and children were part of a police caravan who traveled to Target to “Shop With a Cop” to buy Christmas gifts.

The very same day, our team found ourselves once again supporting the “Backpacks of Love” program providing nutritious food to Richmond Hill families in need during the holiday season. This was our third year of presenting a $1,000 donation and assembling holiday food packages at New Beginning Church in Richmond Hill.

Four years ago, when our company was smaller and located in Thunderbolt, we started an annual tradition of serving a catered holiday feast to local first responders as a way to show their gratitude for the service of our hometown heroes. The tradition continues to this day and now we bring Pooler Fire-Rescue meals of turkey, country ham, and an array of seasonal side dishes from Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q.

As our motto states, “Enriching Our Community” really is at the core of everything we do as a company at The Dewitt Tilton Group, especially during the holiday season.
